1. Authorization for Credit Report Access and Information Sharing:

I hereby authorize ART Elite Car Rental to obtain my credit report from Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB) or any other similar agency on my behalf for evaluation and to provide credit information to such agency.

2. Price includes:

Vehicle registration, insurance, service, maintenance, and a suitable replacement vehicle in the event of scheduled maintenance, breakdown.

3. Premature Off-hiring

* Please note that termination charges as above will be applicable in case you cancel the order after confirmation.

4. Insurance:

Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance: Insurance excess is applicable in the event of any damage/accident where either the lessee is at fault, or where the fault cannot be attributed to a third party, or when the third party is unknown (‘Hit and Run’ cases).

Submission of the final police report, which is suitable for an insurance claim is mandatory in all cases of an accident or damage to the leased vehicle.

The insurance coverage is exclusively provided only for the authorized end-user (driver) as per the agreement, in case of any additional driver request then additional documents must be submitted to ART.

5. Lease Term

The lease agreement will commence from the date the leased vehicle is delivered to the lessee. Should the lessee require a temporary vehicle in case the specific vehicle is not yet ready, we are more than pleased to provide you the same, with the pro-rate of the agreed monthly lease, subject to availability. Please note that the usage of the temporary vehicle will not form a part of the vehicle lease period.

6. Traffic Violations:

Fines or other expenses incurred through traffic violations committed during the lease period will be Lessee’s responsibility. The lessor will charge the Lessee the actual traffic fine or other traffic violation charges, which will be billed separately upon receipt of fines from the traffic department with AED 50/ Fine as a service charges. VAT will be charged on the amount as per the applicable law.

7. Parking Charges

Parking charges invoiced to the Lessor by the respective authorities/entities during the lease period will be charged to the Lessee with 50AED admin charges. VAT will be charged on the amount as per the applicable law.

8. Other Charges

All Salik / AUH Toll transactions will be charged as per the actual toll rate determined by the respective Authority with 1AED an admin charges per transaction. VAT will be charged on the amount as per the applicable law.

9. Mileage

Mileage is restricted (per vehicle per annum) including mileage used by replacement vehicles, if any.  Excess Mileage will be calculated and charged at the rate specified at end of lease. In the event of early off-hire, excess mileage will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

10.Fuel

All vehicles including the replacement and pre-lease vehicles, are to be returned with the same fuel levels as they were handed over to the lessee. Shortage in fuel will be charged to the lessee with management fees.

11. Replacement Vehicle

In the event of major service, maintenance or a breakdown, a suitable replacement vehicle will be provided. The replacement vehicle may not necessarily have the same specifications or size as the original lease vehicle.

12. Payment Options

a. Direct Debit: the Direct Debit Mandate is to be approved by the bank. A satisfactory AECB score is mandatory for this facility.

Rental and Non-Rental amounts shall be charged on the shared Credit / Debit Card till the Direct Debit Mandate is accepted by the bank or in case of any defaults after acceptance.

b. Credit Card/Debit Card: The customer may opt to pay the monthly lease, along with any additional charges such as traffic fines and tolls, using a Credit Card or Debit Card. These payments will be automatically charged to the customer’s card based on a pre-approved authorization on an agreed-upon date.

c. A deposit amount will be applicable as per the master agreement.

d. We will securely save your credit card information for future transactions. Your card details are tokenized, meaning they are replaced with a unique code for added security. This way, your sensitive information is never stored or exposed.

*Deposit will be refunded within 30 days from the off-hire date after adjusting the outstanding amount, if any.

13. Taxes & Regulatory Charges:

The rates quoted and all other charges are exclusive of VAT. VAT as applicable shall be charged.

Any new levies applicable, whether as a result of a change in legislation or otherwise will be charged additionally in accordance with any legal and regulatory requirements

If there is an increase in applicable regulatory charges by the Governments in UAE or Authorities (e.g. Traffic Department, DOT, Trans AD, RTA, etc.) or requirement of any modification / additional fit-outs to the vehicle as per the rules & regulations, then the lessee shall bear the additional charges.

14. Off-road charges / Liabilities

Insurance does not cover off-road usage of the vehicle, and the lessee will be liable for any damage caused and charges arising out of such case.

15. Force Majeure Clause

The lessor shall not be held responsible for any failure to fulfil its obligations under any agreement arising from this quotation to the extent that such fulfilment has been delayed, hindered, or prevented by reasons of Force Majeure that are beyond the control of the company.

16. Quotation validity

This quote is valid for 7 days from the date of the quotation and is subject to the availability of the vehicle.
